| Digimon World Next Order-GoldBerg is a role-playing game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. It is the sequel to the original Digimon World, released in 1999. The game features an open world in which the player can explore and battle with Digimon. The player can choose between two protagonists, Takuto and Shiki, and can customize their Digimon partner. The game also features a new system called the “Digi-Farm” which allows the player to raise and train their Digimon. The game’s story focuses on the player’s journey to save the Digital World from an evil force known as “GoldBerg”, which is threatening to take control of the Digital World. The player must explore the world, battle enemies, and collect items in order to progress the story. The game features over 200 Digimon to collect, train, and battle with, and also features a variety of minigames and side-quests. The game also features a new battle system which allows the player to control two Digimon at once. The game was released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on March 17, 2016 and in North America and Europe on January 31, 2017.
